Our training focuses on the identification and marking of equipment that emits Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) in an industrial process. Participants will learn to use Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to identify and mark equipment, and to understand the significance of VOCs and GHGs in relation to environmental regulations.
We offer trainings that covers the use of infrared cameras to detect and locate leaks in equipment. Participants will learn how to operate the cameras, interpret images, and use the results to repair leaks. This training will also cover the safety procedures required when using optical gas imaging equipment.
We specifically focus on the use of Method 21, a testing procedure used by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to determine the emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from industrial processes. Participants will learn how to perform Method 21 tests, interpret the results, and use the information to identify and repair leaks.
